Your own focused practice set

Learn Sinhala now lets you save any note you want to revisit. Tap the heart beside a note while exploring a lesson, studying flashcards, or answering an MCQ. The note appears on the new Favorites page, ready whenever you want a shorter, more personal practice session.

Favorites give you a simple way to separate “I want extra practice with this” from the rest of a deck. Save a phrase you keep forgetting, a word you need for an upcoming conversation, or a note whose pronunciation deserves another listen. You can add and remove notes without losing the study progress already attached to them.

Favorite notes from Explore, open the saved set, and begin focused flashcard practice.

Favorites and spaced repetition work together

Spaced repetition decides when a note is useful to review. Favorites let you decide what deserves extra attention. One system manages your scheduled review queue; the other gives you a self-curated set you can open on demand. You do not have to replace one with the other.

From the Favorites page, you can practice only your saved notes in three familiar modes:

  • Flashcards for focused recall practice
  • MCQ for quick recognition checks
  • Match for pairing Sinhala terms with their meanings

The same saved set follows you across desktop and mobile. If a note stops being useful, tap its filled heart again. It leaves Favorites, while its ratings and learning history stay intact.

Save a note from the mobile card view and find every favorites practice mode in one place.

Start saving as you learn

Open a Learn Sinhala lesson and look for the heart beside each note. Start with a few items that genuinely need more attention; a small, purposeful list is easier to return to than another full deck. Your Favorites page will keep those notes together and provide the practice shortcuts when you are ready.

Explore Learn Sinhala and build your first focused practice set. If you already know which notes you want, go straight to Favorites.
